Er... er... er ... choo!

The Antithesis prize ... well, er accolade ... for the most inventive and charming invitation to art and design degree shows this year so far goes to Camberwell College of Arts, part of the London Institute.

Not for Camberwell that boring medium, the card - although it must be said the artwork on many of the invitations from institutions have been, as usual, top-notch stuff. But, oh no, none of that card stuff. Admission to Camberwell/London Institute's Private Views summer exhibition is by handkerchief! The small print sternly reminds those invited that "smoking is not permitted at this event". But presumably blowing your nose is allowed.

The runner up to Camberwell's hanky is the University of Northumbria's invitation for the London showings of its fashion, art and design produce. It comes complete with a badge labelled "interested press person".
