The University Advertising Consortium's Pounds 7.5 million, four-year advertising contract has been awarded to Barkers, the second-largest recruitment advertising agency in Britain. Innovative use of email and the internet are key features of the company's strategy for the 36 universities and related institutions in the consortium, which includes the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the British Council, the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals, and nearly all the schools and institutes of London University.
