EFIS conference: signal and signal processing in the immune system

July 19, 2005

Brussels, 18 Jul 2005

Under the auspices of the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), the 13th Symposium on Signals and Signal Processing in the Immune System will take place in Balatonoszod, Hungary, from the 7 to 9 September.

The general purpose of the meeting is to exchange ideas on receptor structure, receptor-ligand interactions, receptor-compartmentation and regulatory role of receptor crosstalk, immunological synapses. This will provide basis for better understanding of signal transfer mechanisms induced by non-clonally determined structures and those of clonally determined receptors. Clinical aspects of signalling will also be discussed.

Poster presentation and selected short oral presentations will also be included in the programme.
