Edinburgh tackles student depression

Edinburgh University marked Scottish Mental Health Week with leaflets and cards urging students to seek help before problems become unmanageable.

The university's centre for theology and public issues has published a report showing that the male suicide rate has risen by 76 per cent since 1971. The greatest increase is among young men.
