Nigel Brown has been announced as the new vice-principal and head of the college of science and engineering. Professor Brown will take up the new post in September, leaving the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.

University Hull

Katija Khan, Amy Warhurst and Sarah Logan have been appointed as teaching fellows in psychology. Prior to taking these posts they were all PhD students in the department.

Swansea University

Richard Hugtenburg has been appointed senior lecturer in medical physics in the School of Medicine at Swansea University and Swansea NHS Trust.

University of Worcester

Mary Nolan has been appointed as the UK’s first professor of perinatal education.
