The University of Buckingham has launched a postgraduate e-commerce course aimed at IT specialists, writes Chris Johnston.
The full or part-time MSc in electronic commerce covers technology and business issues. Students will develop projects intended to aid the development of e-commerce solutions.
Areas covered include technologies and strategies for e-commerce, advanced multimedia, cryptography and network security and data mining.
In conjunction with the programme, the university is offering a research studentship in electronic commerce, funded for three years by a grant from Dixons. The retailer will provide a computing laboratory and seminar room.
A postgraduate diploma and certificate in e-commerce are also available.
