Durham Business School has been recognised by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The school has received AACSB International accreditation, a globally recognised hallmark for schools offering degrees in business and accounting from undergraduate to doctoral level. Less than 5 per cent of international business schools have won the accolade. Jerry Trapnell, chief accreditation officer at the AACSB, said: "Schools not only must meet specific standards of excellence, but their deans, faculties and staff (must) make a commitment to ongoing improvement to ensure that the institution will continue to deliver high-quality education to students."
