Commonwealth Scholarships: about 300 a year, covering postgraduate fees plus maintenance.

Atlantic Fellowships: about ten a year, offered to US mid-career professionals, covering postgraduate fees plus maintenance.

9/11 Scholarships: for children who lost a parent or guardian in the 2001 terrorist attacks; covers fees, living costs and air fare for undergraduate or masters courses.

Visas

Charge for visa: £36. Processing takes one to three days.

Visa extension charge, from £155 to £250.
