Double trouble

Jonathan Osmond (Letters, THES, December 3) has misremembered Lucky Jim. The joke about desirable regions of London appears not once but twice in the novel. Just as there is a passage concluding "No, not Chelsea" so there is one that ends "No, not Bloomsbury".
