Invitations arrived this week for the official launch of a new "independent think-tank on higher education", Agora, which hosted its first debate, "Are we squandering our cultural resources?", at the South Bank Centre in London last week.
Peep had a peek at the group's website - www.agora-education.org - to find out who is behind the intriguing initiative. Its trustees, advisory council and staff appear to be just two people: "Anne O'Neem" and "Bill Theredonethat", whose biography says simply: "Bill has done it all."
And those who wish to join up will find that "membership... entitles members to: "Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3".
Let's hope things are a little clearer by the time of the launch - next month.
