Canterbury Christ Church University - the last institution threatening not to return salary withheld from staff taking part in the cancelled industrial action over pay - has struck a deal with the lecturers' union.
It is understood that the university has agreed to repay all the docked pay, but it said that the "agreement is confidential and no public statement will be made by either party". It is understood that all universities that withheld pay have now agreed to return it.
