Volunteers are being sought to take part in a project investigating destiny, chance and coincidence. Matthew Smith, associate professor of psychology at Liverpool Hope University and leader of the study, is looking for people who believe they are spiritually gifted or have "benefited from a piece of life-changing good luck". He has launched a Facebook group to generate interest in the project, which has already attracted more than 150 members.
