Delusions of grandeur

Tory London mayoral hopeful Boris Johnson seems to be guilty of a Stalinist style re-writing of history, albeit inadvertently. Having resigned his post as Shadow Higher Education Minister to bid for the Tories' mayoral candidacy, Boris explained on his website: "This higher education section is now archived, as Boris is no longer Higher Education Minister." Perhaps the excitement at the prospect of high office has got to him.
