Equal opportunities is the latest area to come under the influence of higher education's quality obsession. The Higher Education Funding Council for England has asked institutions to send it, before the next round of quality assessment visits, copies of "relevant" equal opportunities policies. Not much of a mail-bag filler, by the sound of it.
