A virtual environment centre - one of the most advanced in the world and unique in Europe - was launched by Salford MP Hazel Blears at Salford University this week. The Think Lab is a state-of-the-art facility that harnesses leading ICT developments, including the latest 3-D computer modelling, to solve current and future challenges of industry, such as virtual urban planning, creative games design and workspace technology.
