Supinfocom, a Valenciennes school specialising in advanced computer graphics and graphic design, last week played host to 3,000 digital students and professionals at the second European Gathering of Young Digital Creation 2(000) (Rencontres Europeennes de la Jeune Creation Numerique). Student participants face the challenge of making a collective film of the proceedings, composed of ten-second computer-animated sequences edited together and shown at the closing session. A chance for professionals and students to make contact and keep track of digital trends, the Rencontres is recognised by film studios as a recruiting ground.
