Brussels, 20 Nov 2003
A workshop aimed at members of the research community who are beginning to develop a proposal for an EU funded Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) project will be held in Cambridge, UK, on 20 January.
The event will build upon the results of the first calls for proposals, and address the lessons to be learnt for bidding in 2004. For example, what is the right size for an Integrated Project?
Unsuccessful proposals are sometimes the result of a poor choice of subject or consortium structure. In other cases, proposers have underestimated the time and effort required to launch a successful bid. The workshop will explain how to design a proposal that has a good chance of success, and will include the results of recent research on how successful bidders prepared their proposals.
