A THES report (February 14) on the forthcoming election for the presidency of the National Union of Students incorrectly stated that one of the candidates, Omar Bachache, was on the steering committee of the national Stop the War Campaign. We apologise for the error. Mr Bachache has asked us to point out that he is standing as an independent candidate.
