Brussels, 05 August 2002

CORDIS, the European Commission's research and development information service, is providing a new searchable service dedicated to research and innovation documents and publications.

The library brings together R&D documents, publications and magazines. The service covers articles, conference papers, projects reports, scientific publications and European Commission's innovation-related magazines. Highlights and search features provide quick means to access downloadable official documents or to consult references and abstracts.

The new service takes advantage of the DOCMAIL facility available on CORDIS, which enables users to receive selected documents by e-mail. In addition, extensive FAQs (frequently asked questions) help users better understand the scope of the library and ways to find relevant documents.

This new service based on the existing publications and document library databases is part of current developments aiming to launch more interactive database-related services.
