Conference on the phytopharmaceutical sciences and industry

Phytopharm 2004, a conference devoted to the phytopharmaceutical sciences and industry, will be held from 21 to 23 June in Mikkeli, Finland.

The event will feature lectures from leading scientists from academia, industry and regulatory authorities, and experts from Asia and the CIS countries are expected to feature strongly.

The scientific programme will cover:
- technology and manufacture of pharmaceutical preparations;
- pharmacology of plant based pharmaceuticals;
- modern approaches to the analysis and standardisation of phytopreparations;
- the place and role of biological supplements in functional foods.
