Preparation for accession conferences

The Council agreed on an EU common position with a view to the accession conference with Turkey on 12 June, providing for both the opening and the provisional closure of the science and research chapter of the accession negotiations.

The Council also agreed, without discussion, on an EU common position with a view to the accession conference with Croatia on the same day, providing for both the opening and the provisional closure of the science and research chapter of the accession negotiations.
