Commission workshop on public-private partnerships to increase EU competitiveness

The Research Directorate General of the European Commission will hold a workshop, entitled 'from research to innovative business: public-private partnerships to increase Europe's competitiveness', in Brussels on 7 November.

The event will gather stakeholders from regions, national institutions, governments, industry and the investor community to present the results of the EU funded EUROMAPLIVE project. The initiative proposes a new approach to combining public and private funds, focussing on increasing the capability of start-ups and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to exploit public funded research.
