The European Commission's Research DG will hold a seminar on opportunities for EU research funding for life sciences and biotechnology projects at CORDIA, a biotech convention taking place in Vienna, Austria, from 2 to 4 December.
The session will include a presentation by European Commission officials on funding opportunities for industry under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), and particularly for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Representatives from three SMEs whose projects are short listed for funding will then discuss their experiences.
The seminar will take place on 2 December from 14:00 to 15:30.
The European Commission will also have a stand at the event, where representatives will be available to answer any questions on participation in FP6.
