The first cohort of students to complete a programme designed to widen access to the legal profession has been congratulated at a special ceremony. The £1.5 million Pathways to Law scheme was established in 2007 by the College of Law and education charity the Sutton Trust. Nearly 500 students have been accepted on the two-year scheme, which runs throughout their A-level years.
