College collaboration

Canterbury Christ Church University is backing plans by Thanet College to build a new £43 million campus on land adjacent to the university's Broadstairs campus in East Kent. The university said the relocation of Thanet College enables the institutions to work more closely together. The university's senior pro vice-chancellor, Jan Druker, said: "Both institutions signed a progression accord last year ... guaranteeing a place at the university to any successful Thanet College student with appropriate qualifications and supportive reference."
