Rivalry between Scotland's two main cities has erupted over Prince William. Glasgow University students, aghast at rumours that Prince William is heading for Edinburgh, have sent him ten reasons why he should go west instead. These include a better community atmosphere for the "People's Prince", a Monty Python appreciation society and a constitutional monarch association. But Edinburgh students believe the capital has the edge with proximity to granny's house at Holyrood Palace, students from similarly privileged backgrounds and the highest number of nightclubs per student in the UK.
