Closer higher education and TEC links needed

Higher education institutions should be working in closer partnership with their local Training and Enterprise Councils, a report from the Higher Education Funding Council and Department for Education and Employment will say next week. The report, Best Practice in Collaboration, points out that "structural and cultural change has to be made" to help stimulate local economic growth.
