Call for tenders to provide research statistics

The European Commission has published an invitation to tender for the provision of statistical information services to Eurostat in the field of research.

Eurostat estimates the overall duration of the provision of services will be around 36 months, and the call is divided into the following three lots:


- research and development (R&D) statistics: estimated budget available 330,000 euro - this lot asks for methodological and production work in the area of R&D statistics;


- innovation statistics: estimated budget available 120,000 euro - this lot deals with innovation statistics


- statistics on human resources in science and technology: estimated budget available 360,000 euro - this lot concentrates on statistics on human resources in science and technology only, with a number of tasks to be carried out: the production of annual statistics on human resources in science and technology, the production of a number of Statistics in Focus publications on HRST and the treatment of the incoming new data based on a newly developed PhD survey.
