Call for proposals - aeronautics specific support actions

The European Commission has re-published a call for proposals in the area of 'aeronautics specific support actions' under the Sixth Framework Programme's activity 'aeronautics and space'. This is one of the areas covered by the 'integrating and strengthening the European Research Area' specific programme.

The call relates to the following topics:
- promoting SME (small and medium sized enterprise) participation;
- stimulating dissemination and exploitation of results;
- realising the European Research Area (ERA);
- promoting candidate countries' participation;
- stimulating international cooperation;
- developing an EU research strategy in the sector.

In specifying the instruments to be used in these areas, the call requests the use of specific support actions.

The total indicative budget for this call is seven million euro.

Remarks: The deadlines for submitting proposal documents are 31 March 2004 and 28 September 2004.
