Call for information and communication services in the fields of RTD

The European Commission's Research DG has published a call for tenders for information and communication services in the fields of research and technological development (RTD).

The purpose of this invitation to tender is to locate companies that would be able to provide the Commission with advice and assist it in planning, implementing and following up on information and communication initiatives. Activities will cover first and foremost the 25 European Union Member States, as well as with countries associated with the various programmes managed by the research Directorates-General and the Joint Research Centre and countries applying for EU membership. Local measures, where appropriate outside the EU, may be involved.

The framework contract, worth a maximum of 57 million euro, is divided into 4 lots as follows:
- lot 1: information products (printed material and material for Internet);
- lot 2: initiatives in the audiovisual field (including relations with television channels and radio stations);
- lot 3: relations with the press;
- lot 4: assessment of the impact of information and communication policy products.

The duration of the contract is 12 months from contract award, renewable for 3 further 12-month periods.
