There have been more than 100 entries to the UK's first business plan competition.
Run jointly by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council and the Medical Research Council, the competition has attracted entrants from 41 universities and a number of research council institutes. There is Pounds 20,000 on offer for the winners, as well as mentoring and business training.
