Business placements aim to bolster science

The Royal Society of Edinburgh hopes to boost the number of science students by offering secondary teachers placements in business and research.

The society will award up to four teaching fellowships a year over the next three years, backed by funding from the Scottish Executive's enterprise and lifelong learning department.
