Brunel's human touch

The Human Centred Design Institute at Brunel University's School of Engineering was unveiled this week by Heinz Wolff, emeritus professor. The aim of the institute is to produce designs that are physically and cognitively intuitive to their users. Professor Wolff said that while technology was becoming more sophisticated, the institute would try to overcome the difficulties this complexity presented for users by encouraging design "with the users in mind".
