Brothers earned jobs, says Glasgow inquiry

Jobs held by the two sons of Stan Mason, the sacked principal of Glasgow Caledonian University, are "legitimate and contribute towards to the reputation of the university", an independent inquiry has found.

The Scottish Higher Education Funding Council inquiry concluded that David and Andrew Mason were qualified to work in the physical science department and their pay was appropriate to their jobs.

Dr Mason is still fighting a case for unfair dismissal.
