The punsters have been out in force after Queen's University Belfast decided to team up with Irwin's Bakery to promote lifelong learning via its Armagh campus. The university insists locals are being given "food for thought" thanks to bread featuring a "Use Your Loaf at Queen's Armagh" sticker. The boost to the European Year of Lifelong Learning has moved Jane Morrice, head of the European Commission Belfast office, to remark: "Education is a bread and butter issue and it is excellent the message is being spread in this way."
