Oxford University has won a contract to help scientists at the Natural Environment Research Council to exploit their research.
Isis Enterprise, part of Isis Innovation, Oxford University's technology-transfer company, will support the transfer of technology from Nerc's four wholly owned research centres to increase licensing and create spin-off companies. The research council already runs a business plan competition, employs exploitation scouts and has launched an innovation fund to stimulate new activity.
