Birkbeck, University of London - Football's 'feet drain' examined

Have opportunities for young English footballers diminished because of the number of foreign players? This will be one of the questions posed at a one-day conference on player migration in football at Birkbeck, University of London on 1 May. "'Feet drain': an opportunity for players and a loss for nations" will examine what measures are being taken in developing nations to avoid "football trafficking" and the exploitation of players.
