The Representation of the State of North Rhine Westphalia and Aachen University of Technology will hold a panel discussion on 'bionics - life sciences versus engineering sciences?' in Brussels on 6 May.
Bionics is the technical application of design, processing and development principles of biological systems. The event will be opened by Hannelore Kraft, North Rhine Westphalia's Minister of Science and Research, and panellists will include representatives from the European Commission, universities and industry.
