Beyond a yolk

Tony Blair's former spin doctor Alaistair Campbell was pelted with eggs when he visited the City of Bristol College last week. Mr Campbell was leaving a question-and-answer session at the college when the eggs were hurled at his car by four youths. Apparently, the prime minister was pelted with tomatoes outside the same college three years ago. A separate question-and-answer session that Mr Campbell was due to hold at Bristol University was cancelled - shame, a fry-up could have been on the menu.
