Best practices in science and technology transfer

The association of European science and technology transfer professionals (ASTP) will hold a conference on 'best practices in transfer of science and technology' in Budapest, Hungary, on and 28 May.

The event will address the following themes:
- licensing;
- early stage funding for start-ups;
- technology transfer models, including outsourcing and incubators;
- conflicts of interest;
- nanotechnology, and how it will revolutionise this century;
- stock markets, capital liquidity, late stage financing.

The event is expected to attract around 150 people involved in technology transfer from across Europe and beyond.
