After cosmonauts and astronauts come yuhangyuan . China launched its bid to become the third country to send a man into space on Wednesday.
The Shenzhou 5 spacecraft carried a 38-year-old fighter pilot, who has trained for the honour of being the first yuhangyuan , into orbit shortly before The THES went to press.
