Basic skills primer

The Surrey University skills development project is aiming to raise the skills level of students entering higher education in areas such as communications, making presentations, working in teams and leadership. The project will devise diagnostic tools to assess the level of generic skills possessed by students entering the university. It will then provide opportunities for improving their skills throughout their studies. The project newsletter can be found at
