Baroness Blackstone

* Baroness Blackstone is at loggerheads with Liberal Democrat education spokesmen over research for the education department that showed that mature students would be deterred by the introduction of fees.

The Lib Dems claim that the research was covered up by the DFEE, but Baroness Blackstone said that lists of research are published annually. The THES has checked with the Commons' library and a librarian confirmed that lists are not deposited automatically.
