Audit committee calls for Scottish FE review

n The Scottish Parliament's audit committee has called for a "root and branch" review of Scotland's further education colleges to tackle the sector's financial difficulties.

The committee wants reports by the end of the year from the Scottish Further Education Funding Council on the action planned to tackle college deficits, improve institutional management and rationalise provision.
