Charities upset that the national lottery might hamper their fundraising are comforting themselves that, in order to take part, competitors must both drag themselves down to the shops and have a fair degree of computer literacy. Why, we asked our charity source? "Well, our average donor is over 40, has newspapers delivered and has stopped smoking," she replied.
