A team of Anglia Ruskin academics has travelled to India to pair up with animation training company Frameboxx. The organisation, which trains animators based in India for the work required by Hollywood and Bollywood, will have its courses accredited by the university. The industry anticipates that it will need 300,000 animators by the end of 2008. "It demonstrates the massive growth in recent years, and future potential, of India's animation industry," said Caroline Hyde, the university's business development manager for the cultural and creative industries.
