All change in NI

Northern Ireland's universities and colleges were this week affected by the fallout from Beverley Hugh's resignation as immigration minister. Jane Kennedy, Ulster direct rule minister, was whisked back to Westminster in the unexpected government reshuffle. Paul Murphy, secretary of state, was then left to switch portfolios, and new minister Barry Gardiner - MP for Brent North - was given the higher and further education brief.
