Full text of Document 1/04 The next round to negotiate an EU-US cooperation agreement on the development of a civil global navigation satellite system (GNSS) will be held on 29 and 30 January 2004 in Washington DC.

Representatives of the Member States are asked to attend in order to assist the Commission throughout the meeting and are invited to inform Ms Herran Coviella (mail to: Marita.HERRAN@cec.eu.int, tel.: 02 / 29 678 84) or Mr Ailio (mail to: Eero.AILIO@cec.eu.int) about their participation.

A preparatory Community coordination meeting will probably take place in the late afternoon on 28 January 2004. Other coordination meetings will be convened on the spot as required.
