As female students at Glasgow University this week celebrated International Women's Day by changing campus building names to commemorate women rather than men, it emerged that Mother Nature had given them a helping hand.
A major building is named after Wealth of Nations guru and former Glasgow professor Adam Smith. But wind and rain have taken their toll on the
lettering, which now reads "Ada Smith".
