Congratulations to Elly Rothnie, events manager at Aberdeen University, who is officially the 30th most eligible woman in Scotland. Ms Rothnie, who also manages Aberdeen University's annual writers' Word Festival, said she was delighted to be on the list, especially as she is thought to be the only entry from higher education. But she notes: "I'll have to peak at number 30 because I reckon that you only want to be in it once... appear in it two years in a row and you start looking less than eligible."
